‘A Slice of the Community’ Live Taping – Public Media: We’re Still Here for You

At Nashville PBS / 161 Rains Ave. Nashville, TN 37203

Join host Jerome Moore and Middle Tennessee public media leaders to discuss how the loss of federal funds will affect local television and radio stations. The audience will be encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts. 

Doors open at 7:15 p.m.; live taping begins promptly at 8 p.m. Free pizza will be provided by Five Points Pizza. This event is free, but reservations are required.


 

Nashville PBS’ Great Summer Recipe Giveaway

To celebrate The Great American Recipe’s fourth season (recorded in Nashville!), Nashville PBS is giving away a collection of items to inspire home cooks in Middle Tennessee. Enter to win one of two meal-sized prizes (apron, two cookbooks, and an oven mitt) or one of two snack-sized prizes (oven mitt and two spatulas).

Aging Matters Coffee & Conversations

Join us at 10 a.m. the first Thursday of every month at a FiftyForward center near you!

Each month we’ll screen an Aging Matters documentary at a local FiftyForward center, followed by conversation and light refreshments. 

These events are free, but please RSVP because space is limited.

Screenings take place the first Thursday of each month.
